Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London was the daughter of a British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her best-known character was for her role as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female actress. In the same role, she appeared in the movies Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City 2 in 2010. In the 1980s, she played leading roles on the television show Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. The part of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was an important moment in her professional career. The show not only increased her recognition in the national crowd, but also turned her into an international star giving an immense amount of recognition and fame. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy drama. The film won an Oscar and an award called the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and it was a commercial as well as critical success. The actress was born in Skane, Sweden and did modeling before she started her acting career. She eventually won the Miss Sweden contest. She moved to the US after which she started appearing in films playing small roles. Her first credited role was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she appeared as a Venusian guard. Later that year she starred for the role of a bloody squire in Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising newcomer category.
