Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. The most notable recognition was given to her for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She also played the main role Jerrica Jem Betnton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of the class of 2012 after she graduated. Harvard University accepted her but accepted her entry two times the second time to accept the role she played in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character in Necessary roughness (1991). She was in the made-for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the top talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014
